Senior Instrumentation Engineer

About the Role

Lead instrumentation design and implementation for major process industry projects. You will work on DCS/PLC systems, field instrumentation, and control system architecture for Pakistan's leading industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design instrumentation and control systems for process industries including oil & gas, fertilizer, and power plants
• Develop P&IDs, instrument index, and specification sheets as per international standards
• Lead site installation supervision and commissioning activities
• Coordinate with vendors and clients on technical specifications and approvals
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, and local NEPRA/OGRA standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering from HEC-recognized university
• 5-8 years of experience in process industry instrumentation
• Proficiency in DCS platforms (Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, or Honeywell)
• Strong knowledge of field instruments: flow meters, pressure transmitters, analyzers
• Experience with SIS design and SIL assessment as per IEC 61511
• Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu

Nice to Have

• TÜV Functional Safety certification
• Experience with Beamex calibration systems
• PMP or project management certification
• Experience working on EPC projects
